Film Club

Coronavirus notice: The Film Club is currently on hold.

The St Lawrence Film Club started in Summer 2019, and typically meets fortnightly on Friday evenings. Films are screened in the church hall, using the projector and screen installed in 2019, and the club offers the opportunity for parishioners to meet up and enjoy a range of films together.

Anybody is welcome to come along to a screening, in line with any age restrictions for the film. Access to screenings is free, and the upcoming film is advertised via the parish e-newsletter (sign-up at the bottom of the page) and in the pew sheet. Donations are welcome to assist in the ongoing costs of running the club.

Previous films shown include:

  • West Side Story (1961)
  • Rear Window (1954)
  • Casablanca (1942)
  • East is East (1999)

The film club operates under a CCLI Church Video Licence.
