Your wedding at St Lawrence

Marrying in church is personal, meaningful and spiritual just as you want it to be. Churches are special and unique places to get married in – the prayers, promises and the whole service of celebration become part of your marriage, on the day itself and beyond. If you are considering St Lawrence as a place to get married please contact Rev’d Derek Earis on 07984655662.

Banns of marriage. If you live in the parish and are getting married elsewhere and you need a banns certificate, please email to arrange for your banns to be read at St Lawrence.

Fees for marriage ceremonies can be found on the Church of England table of parochial fees. These are set by the Church of England and are not fixed by the Parochial Church Council.

Please note, these fees do not include charges for heating, the services of a verger, music (e.g. organist), bells, and flowers, which are fixed by the Parochial Church Council. At St Lawrence the fees have been fixed at £100 for full heating, £100 for an organist, £200 for a team of bell ringers, £40 for the services of the verger.
